Interdisciplinary project-based learning emphasizes cultivating students' ability to solve complex real-world problems. However, research shows that it faces issues such as overemphasizing projects and final works while neglecting the learning and thinking processes, producing superficial visual achievements, and lacking opportunities for work improvement. Taking the interdisciplinary project-based learning project “A Campus Where You Won’t Get Lost” as an example, this study integrates design thinking into its design and implementation, and conducts two rounds of action research to demonstrate its application in teaching. The study extracts the design path and guiding principles, and explores whether the framework can effectively address the practical dilemmas of project-based teaching.
