This study explores the application of generative artificial intelligence (AIGC) in the creation of aerospace science animation. Focusing on the Mars landing stage of China’s Tianwen-1 mission, the project investigates the implementation of AIGC in scriptwriting, image generation, and video production. By collecting official visual materials and scientific data, the study utilizes ChatGPT to draft scripts, and applies platforms like Midjourney and KelingAI to generate stylized characters and animated scenes. The resulting animation adopts a cartoon aesthetic and humanized narration to enhance engagement. In post-production, editing, audio effects, and voice acting are integrated to complete a science communication short film. The findings suggest that AIGC significantly improves production efficiency while offering new creative possibilities for public science outreach.
